Test results on whether a patient is a highly probable Covid case-out in 4 minutes without the painful nasal swabbing.

Kilusang Kabataan Livelihood Foundation under the leadership of Ms. Kristin Bangot in partnership with Connexionify will be donating Japanese Technology NTT tests to the City of Baguio.
Demonstration on how the NTT Genki (Japanese word for Health) technology could beef up triage by releasing results in a matter of minutes surprised volunteers and onlookers. Prior to the MOA signing of said donation, Radiologists with several other doctors specializing in radiology, epidemiology and pulmonology were invited to participate in the demonstration and express their insights and reservations over the latest Japanese discovery.
Although RT-PCR tests remain to be the gold standard for testing, doctors believe that one cannot entirely close his/her doors at how technology could indeed assist the medical field and the City Government of Baguio in setting up measures to protect the frontliners and the general public.
NTT COO Christer Cruz was careful to point that the AI technology is not made to replace the expert opinion of Radiologists rather, it aims to facilitate and assist them in the management of the rising Covid- 19 cases in Baguio City.
Considering how Covid 19 is rather unknown and new, doctors stated that in the spirit of research and the desire to help Mayor Magalong in the fight against the virus. Dr. Ruel Revilla, Dr. Ray Leung, Dr. Frederick Aragon and Dr. Celia Brillantes agreed that the research will not only provide data on scholarly studies but it shall also bridge in a solution at how AI and doctors can work together.
The city government believes that the doctors’ assistance to the City government is crucial specially during a pandemic.
Through the demonstration, volunteers witnessed how the NTT AI technology is capable of screening x-ray results for Covid 19 virus and other 17 pathogens in minutes. However, results generated from the AI interface will have to be evaluated vis a vis the radiologists’ own findings.
Final signatory of the results would be the Radiologists.
