The Regional Crime Laboratory Office Cordillera awarded as the Best Crime Lab Office in the Country

La Trinidad, Benguet – During the 75th Anniversary of the PNP Crime Laboratory commemoration held at the Philippine National Police NHQ, Camp Crame on June, 22, 2020, the Regional Crime Laboratory Office-Cordillera (RCLO-COR) garnered several awards including the most coveted “Best Crime Laboratory Regional Office for CY 2019” in the country.
The Benguet Provincial Crime Laboratory SOCO Team headed by PMAJ Lordan De Mesa was adjudged as the country’s “Best SOCO Team”. PMAJ Angeline B. Amangan of the same office was
awarded as the country’s “Best DNA Analyst” whilst RCLOCOR Regional Chief, PCOL Filemon C. Porciuncula Jr. was chosen as the “Best Senior Police Commissioned Officer (PCO) for Administration CY 2019”.
Members of the RCLO-COR Regional Advisory Council (RAC) headed by its Chairman Mr. Gary Paul Abela were also given Certificates of Appreciation from the NHQ for their continued support and volunteerism in advancing the Crime Lab’s goals and aspirations. The said advisory council was previously adjudged as the country’s Crime Laboratory “Best Advisory Council CY 2018”.
PBGEN Rolando Hinanay, Chief of the PNP Crime Laboratory Group handed the awards to the RCLO-COR Chief who attended the event in person. PBGEN Hinanay recognized the RCLO-COR’s significant contribution to the attainment of the Crime Laboratory’s mission and vision.
