TRANSPARENCY IS INTEGRAL FOR CRISIS RECOVERY

The Provincial Government of La Union believes that transparency and accountability are essential components in crisis recovery and transformation. As such, the PGLU affirms its commitment to uphold good governance by keeping its strong ties with the Commission on Audit (COA).
On September 16, 2020, Gov. Pacoy met with COA Regional Office 1 key officers led by OIC-Regional Dir. Chito C. Janaban, during their entrance conference at the Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union.
In the conference, the COA lauded the excellent fiscal management practices of the PGLU, as attested by the PGLU’s 2019 Good Financial Housekeeping award, a recognition conferred by DILG on February 2020.
