Unmatched Ballots

An employee of the city treasurer’s office presents to watchers and candidates the official ballots of Barangay Sto. Tomas in Baguio City that did not match with the barangay’s ballot identification number.

The official ballots for Barangay Sto. Tomas (sealed in a black COMELEC box) instead contained the official ballots of Barangay Puguis in La Trinidad, Benguet.

The City Treasurer’s Office said that COMELEC will retrieve the box and hoping COMELEC will find the misplaced official ballots of Barangay Sto. Tomas in time for the May 13 midterm elections.
