201 Police trainees graduated from Basic Recruit Course

CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – After successfully completing the 960 hours of training from July 13, 2020 to January 12, 2021, 201 Police Trainees finished the
Public Safety Basic Recruit Course (PSBRC).
In a simple ceremony held at CAR Training Center on January 12, 2021, PSBRC Class 2020-02 “TINDIG GASAT” Alpha to Delta successfully completed the first stage of their training as aspiring police officers. The class has a total strength of 201 police trainees, composed of 171 males and 30 females.
During the ceremony, four police trainees emerged on top of their class and were recognized for their outstanding academic and non-academic performances. Topping the class is Pat Pinky Tibaldo, while Pat Ivy M Ayahao and Pat Fermor A Dusag tied for Top 2, and Top 3 is Pat Ariane D Ducammol.
Also, “Leadership Awards” were given to Pat Christian Khebim S Pariñas for being the Battalion President and Pat Geovani F Abad for being the Battalion Commander. PMGEN ALEX B SINTIN, Director of Philippine National Police Training Institute (PNPTI), graced the ceremony as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. In his speech, PMGEN SINTIN congratulated the graduates on their new accomplishment and reminded them that as they enter the service, they must always do what is right, work for the good of everyone and keep in mind all the consequences of their actions. Another part of the ceremony is the turn-over of graduates to Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR).
The graduates are now under PROCOR and are ready to undergo the next part of their training, the Field Training Program, a six-month training on the field to hone the skills of the police trainees on patrolling, investigation, and traffic management.
