Cinema Lepanto Film Workshop

Kidlat Tahimik as Tatay Film maker shared his expertise in making a local and international film since 1980s to the participants of the two-day free filmmaking workshop sponsored by the Lepanto Consolidated Mining Company led by Butch San Buenaventura Mendizabal, communications head of LCMC. The facilitators also included Ferdie Balanag for Production Methods, Lissa Romero-de Guia for Scriptwriting, Kidlat de Guia for Cinematography, and Abbie Lara for Post Production. The CineMina Lepanto Film Festival held at Sarmiento Hall, UP-Baguio last July 13, 2018, is part of the upcoming 82nd anniversary of LCMC, dubbed as “Lepanto Mining, empowering communities”.
