A city government task force conducts tight monitoring of establishments on their compliance with the minimum health protocols against COVID-19.
City Permits and Licensing Division Head Allan Abayao said violators were issued notices of violations with corresponding penalties and were advised on what specific actions they can do to ensure compliance.
Mayor Benjamin Magalong earlier sought intensification of monitoring to address laxity in the observance of the protocols which he said should not be tolerated as the virus threat remains and the city is in the thick or reopening the economy.
