Mayor Domogan graces Procor’s 23rd PRCR Month culminating activity

CAMP BADO DANGWA, LA TRINIDAD, BENGUET – Police Regional Office-Cordillera culminates the 23rd Police-Community Relations Month celebrations with the theme “Tapat at Paglilingkod ng Kapulisan Kaagapay ang Mamamayan, Hatid ay Kaunlaran” with Mayor Mauricio G. Domogan of Baguio City as the guest of honor and speaker, July 30 here.
In his speech, Mayor Domogan commended all the awardees and applauded the PNP for being the most ever-present organizations of the society, and that Police Community Relations was established to fulfill its mandate of developing, guiding and steering a “community and service oriented” police organization in forging relationship with a cooperative community towards a peaceful, orderly and harmonious community interactions. Mayor Domogan presented the awards to outstanding PNP units, personnel, and stakeholders who displayed significant contributions and invaluable services leading to the attainment of Police-community relations activities.
As Unit Awardees, Baguio City Police Office was “Outstanding City Police Office” in the Regional and National Level; Benguet Police Provincial Office was adjudged as the “Outstanding Police Provincial Office”; Station 6- Baguio City Police Office as “Outstanding City Police Station”, and La Trinidad Municipal Police Station as the “Outstanding Municipal Police Station”.
Individual awards were given to the following personnel for their contributions in strengthening the partnership between the police and the community: PSUPT Jomarick B Fellina of Mt. Province Police Provincial Office (PPO) as  “Outstanding PCR Senior PCO of the year”; PSI Ramon B Espiritu JR of Abra PPO, “Outstanding PCR Junior PCO of the year; SPO4 Rogelio T Limbawan of La Trinidad Municipal Police Station (MPS), Benguet PPO as Outstanding PCR Senior PNCO; and PO2 Gabriel A Potpoten of Bontoc MPS, Mt. Province as Outstanding PCR Junior PNCO.
Furthermore, the Regional Police Community Relations also recognized the following stakeholders for their support to PROCOR programs and activities: Reinaldo A. Bautista Jr., chairman, Regional Advisory Council; Rev. Francisco Sanchez, chapter head, Bangued Evangelical Church; Flora Mayor Rodolfo B. Juan of Apayao; Tarcicius S. Mero, boxing trainor and referee; Dr. Higinio Clyde Abellanosa, member, La Trinidad Municipal Advisory Council; Provincial Advisory Council of Ifugao PPO; Engineer Andress B. Ngao-i, Kalinga Provincial Advisory Council; and Gov. Bonifacio C. Lacwasan of Mt. Province.
