NURSERY FOR STRAWBERRY RUNNER PRODUCTION

The Department of Agriculture Cordillera (DA-CAR) officially turned over today the newly constructed greenhouse to the Granjeros De Oeste Organization, a group of small-scale farmers at Purok 1, Irisan Barangay.
The turnover is witnessed by the City Government of Baguio and the City Veterinary and Agriculture Office. The greenhouse is constructed through the High-Value Crops Development Program of DA-CAR which costs Php 543,244.00 and will serve as a nursery for strawberry runner production aimed at boosting up the strawberry industry in the City of Baguio.
