Quest for love, search for change agents

Former Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Regina “Gina” L. Lopez challenged the participants of Benguet cooperatives, workers’ groups, and students to invest in talents and skills with the determination to alleviate poverty and community development during her visit last April 28, 2018 at the BSU CTE Function Hall. She oriented them on the advocacies of the Investments in Loving Organizations for Village Economies (iLOVE) group and its collaboration with government offices for the “Quest for Love”, a search for change agents such as NGOs, people’s organizations, cooperatives, social enterprises, and other socially-oriented organizations to come up with an idea that would help alleviate poverty. The chosen final eight will be given P5 million-worth of government assistance plus P100,000 cash. BSU-UPAO
