SALENG TREE CART PARADE

This year’s tree cart parade promotes upcycling by repurposing scrap materials for making something new. The participants built their tree carts using scraps from construction materials such as plastic, steel, and wood. Some used the wood from fallen tree branches.
The event’s advocacy encourages schools and the business sectors to help bridge the gap between city life and nature by using greenery to beautify their facades’ limited space. The tree carts are on display at Malcolm Square from June 18 – 25, 2022.
