Teen falls into deep well while catching frog over the rain in La Union

STO. TOMAS, La Union – A 13-year-old student was pronounced dead on arrival after he fell on the under-construction deep well along with the farm while catching a frog over the rain at Barangay Casilagan recently (May 18, 2022) here.
According to the police report of Sto. Tomas Police Station, at about 5:00 am, the victim was found by his elder brother bent
over along the said deep well, he was rushed to the nearest medical treatment in La Union Medical Center in Agoo but pronounced dead by physician Dr. Paul Estonillo.
According to his brother, the victim went out to catch a frog that night over the heavy pours of rain until he never came home.
According to investigator Pol. Corporal Denmark Bautista that in his primary investigation there is no signs of foul play nor wounded scratches on the victim.
