Tourists, professionals donate school supplies to Dalingoan pupils

It is said that this School Year 2017-2018, parents of the school children in Dalingoan Elementary School in Sinacbat, Bakun, Benguet are quite lucky because they need not go to buy their children’n school needs.
Last May 13,2017 a group of tourists who visited the summit of Mount Tenglawan and who promised their tour guides to donate school supplies for their (tour guide) children returned and gave to each pupil a durable plastic file case containing notebooks, papers, pencil or ballpen, eraser, ruler and crayon.
The approximate worth of school supplies given to each pupil from Kinder to Grade VI plays from ± 150 to ± 180.
A day after the coming of the tourists, a group of young professionals composing seven individuals with different professions also came and distributed another set of school supplies that are also placed in a transparent plastic file case and the contents of each look similar to those given by the tourists.
They also gave three bags of cement and conducted free check-up because some of them are nurses by profession.
According to them, they came to extend help not in the name of their office or agency but as a batch in college. Antonio B. Lantaen / ABN
