Uniqlo through SMFI and SM City Baguio donate 5,000 facemasks to PMA

Uniqlo Philippines through SM Foundation and SM City Baguio turnover 5,000 pieces of Uniqlo Airism facemasks to the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) last October 20, 2020. Uniqlo Philippines honored almost 115,000 frontliners all over the country.
Medical professions and law enforcement officers were the first to receive said facemasks. In an official social media post, Uniqlo has pledged to support and help frontliners and those who have been working hard to save our fellow countrymen, and the communities highly affected by the pandemic through giving Airism masks with a target number of 500,000.
Unlike the usual disposable masks, Uniqlo gave Airism face masks has a three-tier structure that can filter 99 percent of particles, including bacteria and pollen. Further, it can also be used as a blocker against harmful ultraviolet rays. These Airism masks are made of lightweight and breathable material which stretches to its wearer’s form avoiding strain in breathing.
Incorporating the brand’s Airism technology, the face mask is made of lightweight, breathable material that stretches to its wearer’s form without the constricting feel. The washable face mask also has a three-tier structure that can filter 99 percent of particles, including bacteria and pollen.
