Cordillera Cops nab 68 wanted persons during SACLEO

LA TRINIDAD, BENGUET – In a week’s Simultaneous Anti Criminality Law Enforcement Operation arrested 68 wanted including the Cordillera’s Top Most Wanted Person.

In its desire to account all wanted persons in Cordillera, this recent accomplishment of PROCOR is one of the overwhelming outcome on the campaign against wanted person. Among the 68, seven notorious criminals tagged as TMWP regionwide were hunted down.

Cordillera’s no. 9 top most wanted person for the crime of two counts of Rape finally landed in jail after he was captured at Sitio Turayok, Brgy. Buluan, Conner, Apayao on August 21, 2019. Rape suspect identified as Modesto Duriguez Talay, 53, security guard and a resident Perfecto Drive, Bagumbayan, Taguig City, Manila has no recommended bail for his temporary liberty.

Benguet Police Provincial Office (BPPO) captured the two Benguet’s TMWP on August 19, 2019. Jason Luansin Dela Cruz, 30, farm laborer, native of Dardarat, Tagudin, Ilocos Sur and the no. 4 most wanted person was arrested in his residence at Cada, Upper Cotcot, Bangao, Buguias, Benguet while Sherwin Galingon Bilog Aka Bayawe , no. 7 most wanted was captured at Km. 3, Pico, La Trinidad, Benguet. Dela Cruz was charged for the crime of Rape with no bail recommended while Bilog accused for the crime of Robbery has a recommended bail of Php36,000.00.

Further, Bilog is a member of Acetylene Gang operating nationwide under the “Gipson Beligen Group” a.k.a “Sagandoy Acetylene Group”.

Apayao Provincial Police Offie reported the arrest of Rex Purieng Bidoc, 33, laborer, a resident of Brgy. Poblacion, Luna, Apayao and number five( 5) most wanted person was cornered at Brgy. San Francisco, Luna, Apayao on August 23, 2019 for the crime of murder with no bail recommended.

While Ronel Pintang Guerero, 38, farmer, a resident of Brgy San Isidro, Tagkawayan, Quezon and tagged as the no. 7 TMWP was arrested for the crime of Rape in Brgy. Rizal, Tagkawayan, Quezon Province on August 21, 2019 with no bail recommended.

Abra’s notorious no. 8 top most wanted identified as Jay-El Gubatay Belisario, 28, native of Luba, Abra was arrested in his residence in Brgy. Cabalantian, Bacolor, Pampanga on August 20, 2019 for the crime of Rape with no bail recommended. Whereas, Ifugao’s no. 10 TMWP identified as Reymar Dulnuan Lay-O, 24, a resident of Pieza, Lamut, Ifugao was captured at Pieza, Lamut, Ifugao on August 23, 2019 for the crime of Homicide with a recommended bail bond of Php 120,000.00.

The recorded accomplishment of operation shows that Baguio City Police Office attains the highest number of accomplishment with 26 arrests followed by Benguet PPO with 13; Abra PPO- 9; Apayao and Ifugao PPO with 6 arrests each; Kalinga PPO- 5; and Mountain Province PPO recordedthe least with only 3 arrests.

These wanted persons were arrested during the simultaneous service of warrants of arrest from August 19-23, 2019 in the different cities and municipalities of Cordillera.
