To recognize the bravery and patriotic sacrifice of the fallen soldiers and veterans during the Second World War, a flag-raising and wreath-laying ceremony was held at the Shrine of the United States Armed Forces in the Philippine-Northern Luzon (USAFIP-NL) in Barangay Darigayos, Luna, La Union on April 9, 2022.
