35TH MOUNT DATA PEACE AGREEMENT

The Cordilleran leaders gathered to commemorate the 35th Mount Data Peace Sipat or Agreement at the Mount Data Hotel in Bauko,
Mountain Province on September 13, 2021.
The Cordillera leaders led by original signatory to the Mount Data Sipat Cordillera elder Leonardo Bun-as and Sadanga Mayor Gabino Ganggangan who was a witness during the peace agreement reminisced the historic event which was the first peace agreement successfully entered into by the national government during the administration of former President Corazon Aquino.
They also continue to clamour and pursue the dream of an autonomous region of the Cordillera.
