8 SLU alumni among Top 10 in Chemical Technician board exams

Eight Saint Louis University are among the top 10 finishers in the recent licensure examinations for Chemical Engineering.
They are some of the 161 examinees from the biggest higher educational institution north of Manila in the October 2021 licensure examination.
Arvin John Villanueva lead the SLU examinees when he finished third in tie with two other graduates from other schools with grades of 90.5 percent.
Three Louisians made it to the top 9 with nine others after garnering grades of 87.5 percent. They Rheynalie I Bado, Joeflor J Pangngay and Abigail G Perez.
Four, on the other hand, finished 10th with four others, namely: Anne Mhari G Antalan, Ramyll D Fernandez, Jan Redell D Lastimosa and Efraim A Legeken with grades of 87 percent.
The licensure examinations was topped by Mary Dorothy Dinampo of the Cebu Institute of Technology – University with a grade of 92. Two examinees took the second spot with grades of 91, namely Ivan Jan Romero of Central Philippine University and CUT-P alum Ed Ryan Ruales.
Villanueva shared equal honors with CPU alum Renan Bilan and Adventist University of the Philippines graduate Rei Jeuz del Mundo. Marina Loveranes of Bicol University – Legaspi was the sole fourth placer with a grade of 90 percent.
Six occupy the fifth place with an 89.5 percent grade, five occupy the sixth spot, three for seventh placed (89 percent) and 14 are among the top eighth placed examinees with grade of 88 percent.
SLU was ranked second among the schools with a passing rate of 99.38 percent when only one of its graduates for a 99.38 percent passing rate.
Only two schools topped SLU with the University of the Philippines – Los Banos and Mindanao State University – Marawi City seeing all its graduate hurdling the licensure test.
However, UPLB had 43 examinees, while there 32 MSU – Marawi graduates who took the examination. Last month, SLU saw 66 of its graduates passing the chemical engineer licensure examinations led by Alister Marc Domiles, who finished third.
