Abra capital tricycle driver survives shooting

BAGUIO CITY (October 25, 2021)—- A tricycle driver survived an attempt on his life after a gunman shot him several times at 7:15 PM Sunday night in sitio Turod, Barangay Bangbangar, Bangued,  Abra’s capital.
Luis Soria Agaid, 29, from Barangay Namarabar, Peñarrubia, Abra, reportedly came from the house of a friend and was driving his tricycle at Barangay Bangbangar, Bangued, when the suspect started shooting.
Hit by a bullet on his right upper arm and right ankle of his foot, Agaid ran and sought refuge at a nearby house.
The suspect, who was later on identified as Francis Neil Galvez Ducayag from barangay Sagap, also in Bangued, reportedly fled on foot.
Responding policemen rushed Agaid at the Don Petronilo V. Seares Sr. Memorial Hospital in Bangued.
Abra police claimed a manhunt operation is on-going against Ducayag, while ferreting out what prompted the shooting.
