Kalinga Governor Catches Covid

BAGUIO CITY (February 9, 2021)— Kalinga Governor Ferdinand Tubban tested positive of Covid19 based on the result of RT PCR for Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) Monday, February 8, 2021.
This prompting him to call all the persons he might had contacts or interactions in the past week to observe for signs or symptoms of Covid-19.   He appeales to them to consult health workers if they are experiencing any symptoms.
Still wishing for everyone’s safety especially during the time of the pandemic, he also urged the public
to strictly follow the Minimum Public Health Standards  (MPHS), wash hands frequently, wear face mask andface shield, and to observe physical distancing.
As of 8:00 PM of February 8, 2021, Kalinga has a total of 1,473 covid-19 cases.  There are 309 active cases,  1,153 recoveries and 11 deaths.
