PRO1 BARANGAYANIHAN CARAVAN

“PRO1 joins barangayanihan caravan, brings services to communities.”
Barangayanihan Caravan dubbed as DUTERTE Legacy: Barangayanihan Caravan towards National Recovery that aims to bring the government services closer to the community.
Kicked-off with a motorcade Thursday morning (September 30), the said barangayanihan caravan was held at the PRO1 Auditorium to serve as a one-stop-shop and access to all participating agencies as well as different organizations from the private sectors, including the Global Coalition of Lingkod Bayan Advocacy Support Groups and Force Multipliers.
Anchored on the theme, “Barangay at Bayan nagba-baranggayanihan patungo sa pag ahon ng bansa, the said caravan was founded on the concept of Whole-of- Nation Approach, as an indispensable tool in attaining peace and development of the country.
During the activity, Police Regional Office 1 through the Regional Medical and Dental Unit has catered Libreng Tuli, free dental examination and fluoride treatment, free flu vaccination to the beneficiaries along with the free legal assistance and counselling conducted by the Regional Legal Service and Human Rights Affairs Office.
Processing of License to Own and Possess Firearm was also catered by the Regional Civil Security Unit 1.
PRO1 has also distributed food packs, solar lights and toilet bowls as part of the PRO1’s flagship projects, Pailaw ng Pulis at Palikuran Ni Juana Handog ni Mamang Pulis.
The said caravan has helped hundreds of beneficiaries as the participating agencies provided assistance and informed the public of the services that they can avail of. These include the services from TESDA, DPWH, HPG, DILG, DENR, BFP, BJMP, Philhealth, SSS, DOLE, DSWD and DAR.
Said activity was graced by the Usec. Ramon Cualoping, Director General, Philippine Information Agency; PBGEN Emmanuel B. Peralta, PRO1 Regional Director; Atty. Evelyn R. Ramos, Regional Director, DOLE; Mr. Vincent Atienza CIFRA, Regional Director, TESDA and Jennilyne Role, Regional Director, PIA and virtually attended by Hon. Jose Repurto Martin Mandanar, PCOO Secretary and Usec. Vicente Agdamag, Deputy Director General, National Security Council.
