STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL’S FUN RUN 2024 IGNITES ATHLETIC SPIRIT, FITNESS

More than 1,000 running enthusiasts participated in the recent Fun Run, a sports extravaganza in the 2024
Strawberry Festival. The event featured two scenic routes: a breezy 2K loop from the Municipal Hall to the COA Office and back, and a more challenging 5K journey, meandering from the hall through the lush landscapes of Barangays Buyagan, Puguis, and Pico, before circling back.

Barangay residents braved the morning cold to cheer the runners , some offered bottled water The run has raised the
bar for fun, camaraderie, and the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle as the festival progresses. Among the notable
winners was Shiela Mae Domilies, clinching first place in the 2K Open Category (Female) for the second consecutive
year. ”Grateful ako kasi naging part ako sa fun run at maka inspire ako sa mga aspiring athletes,” Domilies said. She added, “I consider every race as a stepping stone in my career development and it serves as an inspiration to strive
more.”
