17 Year Old Girl Found In Ilocos Sur Creek

BAGUIO CITY (October 7, 2020) – A farmer, who went to tend his carabao, found a lifeless body of a teenager lying on an irrigation canal between Barangays Buliclic and San Pedro in Sta. Lucia, Ilocos Sur.
Later on identified as is Juliana Faith Aleluia, 17, from Barangay San Pedro, the body has become unrecognizable because it has underwent advanced stages of decomposition, the Sta. Lucia town police said.
Investigators initially theorized that the teener was hit by a blunt object and was allegedly raped.
A thorough investigation was launched, authorities vowed.
In July, 15-year-old Fabel Pineda was killed by riding-in-tandem gunmen in Cabugao town, after she filed a molestation complaint against two policemen from nearby San Juan town.
Both policemen have already been dismissed from the rolls of the national police aside from raps leveled against them.
Ilocos Region police director Brig. Gen. Rodolfo Azurin have also revamped the San Juan and Cabugao town police personnel.
