Baguio SK Kagawad Caught For Selling MJ

BAGUIO CITY (May 26, 2021) – Anti-drugs operatives of the PDEA-Cordillera and Baguio police caught a Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Kagawad and his cohort in a sting operation Monday evening, a belated report said.
Kenneth Bryan Aberin Balalang, 23, SK Kagawad of Poliwes barangay in the city and his cohort Lorryanne Estioco Cordova, 21, unemployed, sold a sachet of dried marijuana leaves weighing 15 grams valued at P1,500 to an undercover government agent.
Baguio City police director Col. Allen Rae Co said Balalang is logged in the drug watchlist as a “Street Level Individual (SLI)” while Cordova is unlisted.
A barangay official from Balalang’s barangay witnessed the inventory of the seized drug and non-drug evidences against the SK barangay kagawad and his cohort including, a media representative, and Baguio Assistant Prosecutor Don Immanuel Vergara.
