BUY-BUST AT CRESENCIA VILLAGE
BAGUIO CITY – A high value individual was arrested during a buy-bust operation in Cresencia Village that resulted in the seizure of suspected shabu. BCPO Camdas and Regional Drugs Enforcement Unit identified the suspect as Roger Neri Montevergin, 49, taxi driver and resident of Piripin Bato, Dreamland, Baguio City.
The suspect was arrested at around 8:30 PM of December 7, 2020 by elements of BCPO Camdas headed by Police Captain Jeremiah Benito, RDEU, CDEU and RID.
Confiscated during the operation were 3 pieces of plastic containing suspected shabu with an estimated total weight of MOL 3 grams worth Php 20,400, one red/black keypad Qnet brand cellphone, one green & blue keypad Nokia cellphone and the buy-bust money.
Cases for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspect.
