Cagayan Valley cops bags nationwide PNP performance gov’t system award

BAGUIO CITY (July 17, 2021) — Cagayan Valley policemen bagged the Golden Eagle Award for PGS Institutionalization during the Conferment Ceremony held at the SINAGTALA P.A.T.R.O.L.ers’ Hall, Center for Police Staregy Management, Camp Rafel BGEN Rafael Crame, Quezon City yesterday.
PNP Chief General Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar hailed the Valley for successfully satisfying the requirements for the PGS Institutionalization Stage with an over-all rating of 95.5 percent.
The Gold Eagle Award was personally received by Cagayan Valley police director Brigadier General Crizaldo Nieves.
“As part of our effort to continuously and effectively institutionalized good governance in the Philippine National Police we have resumed the conduct of the Institutionalization Evaluation Process to PNP Office to Units and today we conferred on Police Regional Office 2 the PGS Institutionalized Status in Recognition of Its efforts and initiatives to implement the PNPs Long term Transformation Strategy.
PRO2 has accomplished numerous breakthroughs in its scorecard among of its are reduce crime incidence, exceptional crime clearance and crime solution efficiency, increase public trust and satisfaction which are deserving of recognition,” Eleazar said.
RD Nieves expressed his gratitude to the Regional Advisory Council and Stakeholders for their contribution in successfully satisfying the requirements for the PGS Institutionalization Stage. “Being awarded the Gold Eagle is a truly remarkable feat that requires an unbounded commitment for excellence in all aspects of police service,” Nieves said.
Eleazar also lauded the good deeds of Cagayan Valley policemen especially the Cagayan Valley cops’ “Lingkod Bayanihan Libreng Pabahay Project” which touched the lives of many people in Region 2.
“Nakakataba ng puso na na naapreciate ng ating mga kababayan ang mga ginagawang kabutihan ng ating mga pulis maliit man o malaki, dahil ito ay tunay na mukha ng Philipine National Police na dapat malaman ng taumbayan,” Nieves added.
Of the 3 PNP Regional Offices that were conferred the Institutionalization
Stage, only PRO2 received the Gold Eagle Award.
