World War II heroes, honored

Philippine Veterans Administration Office (PVAO) Administrator Lt. Gen. Ernesto G. Carolina honored the five World War II veterans from (l-r) are PVT Venancio E. Buenavista, PVT Luciano T. Tangalan, PVT Pedro V. Hipol, PVT Antonia H. Sanchez and PVT Gervacio F. Tadifa witnessed by Regional Director PC Supt. Romulo E. Sapitula, Provincial Director PS Supt. Genario V. Sapiera, the local government officials headed by Mayor Eulogio Clarence Martin P. De Guzman III, PNP headed by PC Insp. Danilo V. Ligayo, OIC and other local officials, LGU department heads and employees, barangay captains, and principals of secondary schools during the occasion of the 173rd Bauang Liberation Day Commemoration Anniversary on March 19, 2018 at the Municipal Plaza of Bauang, La Union.
