AN ELECTRICIAN SELLING ILLEGAL DRUGS BUSTED IN BAGUIO

Another drug personality fell into the law enforcers hand as the result of the relentless efforts of the Police Regional Office Cordillera in fighting illegal drugs in the region.
According to the report of PCOL ALLEN RAE F CO (City Director of Baguio CPO) to PBGEN R’WIN S PAGKALINAWAN (Regional Director of PROCOR), in the afternoon of February 15, 2021, operatives of Baguio CPO and PDEA-CAR conducted a buy-bust operation at Baguio Memorial Park Cemetery in San Luis Village, Baguio City that resulted to the arrest of a drug personality and confiscation of a suspected illegal drugs.
The suspect identified as DHEL CARGANILLA PADILLA, 34 years old and an electrician was arrested after selling a heat sealed plastic sachet of suspected shabu to the anti-drug operatives who acted as poseur buyer.
In the course of his arrest, another heat sealed plastic sachet of suspected shabu was confiscated in the possession of the suspect. In total, two heat sealed plastic sachets with estimated weight of 1 gram and Standard Drug Price of Php 6,800.00 were recovered during the operation.
Inventory and marking of recovered evidences was conducted in the presence of Prosecutor Oliver Isabelo Prudencio, Brgy. Kagawad Joseph Domiong, and media representative Brigette Marcasi of Bombo Radyo.
Mr. Padilla is now facing charges for violation of the RA 9165 or otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 while the evidence recovered were brought to the custody of the crime laboratory for qualitative and quantitative examination.
